Daniel planted a Japanese maple tree for Alyssa. We're going to watch both Alyssa and the tree grow together...
Lena came to visit from Redwood City this weekend. Daniel, Alyssa, and I went to eat yummy Korean food with her, her mom and her stepdad. This is the first time Lena has seen Alyssa since she was 8 weeks old. She couldn't believe how big she's gotten. It was so nice to see Lena. I wish she lived closer...we'd have a great babysitter! :)
The other evening Karin, Zoe and Adrian came over for dinner. It's so nice that Alyssa has cousins to play with. Adrian is one month older than Alyssa and Zoe is almost two years. It's going to be so fun to watch them all grow up together.
Alyssa's grandma and grandpa have a stuffed animal dog that sings and dances to "Singing in the Rain." When she goes to their house she loves listening to it. Every time the song ends, Alyssa cries and we have to start it again. It's the funniest thing!
This past Sunday, Alyssa got to stay with her grandma while Daniel and I went to eat with Kris, Bella, Alex and Mantha. Alyssa had a fun time with grandma...unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of them. I did get one with her Auntie and cousins. BTW, Easter pics are updated =)

We went to visit Traci and Baby Tamlyn today. Tamlyn was born on March 17th at 10 lbs. 6 oz. and she is just so adorable! She was more alert today than when we saw her at the hospital. I can't wait until our two girls are old enough to play together. They're going to have so much fun!
The other morning Smores accidentally scratched the side of Alyssa's face. Daniel and I never heard her cry so loudly. It was pretty traumatizing for us. The doctor looked at it and said it wasn't too bad, so that made us feel better. She's fine now and her scratch is almost healed.

Today Annie came by to visit Alyssa and I. It was nice seeing her and catching up on what's been going on with her...
We went to visit Bev and Nathan today. First we stopped by their place and hung out for a little while. Then we went to eat at Islands. Alyssa was very good and she loved seeing her buddy Nathan. We had a fun day!

Every morning Alyssa watches Oswald, a cartoon on Noggin, from 8:00-8:30. It's a silly cartoon about a blue octopus and a weeinie dog. She loves it and it's become part of her morning routine.
